Kindergarten Enrollment:

  • At this time, 2026-27 registration is open for Kindergarten. Students entering Kindergarten for the 2026-27 school year MUST be 5 years old by August 24, 2026. Current Northmont Preschool students going into Kindergarten must register through this process as well! The early registration link will close April 21 and reopen in May.

 

Required documents for enrollment: Please upload the following documents into the Final Forms portal.

  1. Your child’s birth certificate
  2. Your child’s vaccination record
  3. Parent identification 
    • state-issued driver’s license, id, or passport
  4. Proof of residency (2 forms)
    • Property lease or property tax statement 
    • current utility bill
  5. Updated physical
  6. Custodial documents (if applicable) 
  7. Shared Residency Affidavit (if applicable)
    • We require that students be residents of Northmont. If you are living with an individual or family who has residency in the Northmont district, please see the information about Shared Residency below:

Early Entrance to Kindergarten Information

Families of students who turn five after the first day of school may request that their child be evaluated for early entrance to kindergarten. Students must demonstrate advanced readiness through a rigorous testing process. In a typical school year, a very limited number of students meet the criteria.
